Baptisms, Testimonies, & Graduations!
Thank you for being faithful to read our blog and praying for the ministry on the Reservation. This past month we had four people join the church by baptism, and one by statement of faith. We had five scheduled for baptism but a few days before Ms. Martha was to be baptized she went home to be with the Lord. There were five professions of faith at her Home Going Services. It was a sweet service, and the Lord was praised. Ms. Martha was a blessing to our church family, please pray for her family and Bro. Andy in the loss of his wife.
The Lord has provided us with several opportunities over the past three months to share our mission work. It is amazing that we can report that our new partnering churches are now at 63% of our monthly support needed. Thank you to those who have supported us for the past ten years, and those that have joined with us recently to allow us to continue to serve as missionaries on the Navajo Nation, and help Andy be able to serve full time. As Andy continues to strive towards being full time we welcome new opportunities to share our burden to the Navajo Nation and Narrow Path Ministries. We will spend three weeks in June on the road dong deputation and once we get home we will launch into summer ministry on the Reservation. We are excited to have our first VBS in three years!!! Although not supported by the Navajo Nation government we plan to re-launch our bus route after VBS. Please be in prayer that one of our members will volunteer for the bus route.
In July we have two wonderful ministry opportunities; the first is our 70th-anniversary celebration for Mexican Water Baptist Church!!!! That weekend we will have a trail ride, mutton fest, preaching & testimonies from previous missionaries, and then we will follow that weekend up with our second kids’ ministry outreach for the summer, and evening revival services!! At the end of July, we have our launch Biblical Manhood Backcountry Experience. We have a group of five men/ teenage boys signed up to join us. We can still take a couple more if you are interested but would need to reach out to Bro Andy soon.
We have a website!!!! One of our great friends designed a beautiful website for us. We will share our newsletters, mission trip opportunities, and Narrow Path Backpacking trips; you can also send support via the webpage and sign up to receive our newsletters. We are praying for a man or family ministry partner to come alongside us and help with the mission work on the reservation. If you know of someone with a burden to reach the Navajo Nation please have them call Bro. Andy so he can share the details of what we are looking for in a mission partner.
Bro. Andy will be preaching at First Baptist Church in Sullivan, MO on June 15th if any of our supporting churches in the area would like to attend we would love to see you.
